OllieFest FAQ’s
Where can i get tickets for the event?
Tickets for OllieFest can be purchased HERE
Where is OllieFest?
We are at Ross Rugby Ground, Abbotts Close, Greytree, HR9 7GQ
Is there car parking, and how much does it cost?
There is parking at the rugby ground for the small charge of £3 per day. It is an open ground so there is space for disabled and parent and child parking. However, the parking and the festival is on grass so please bear this in mind if needing to bring a wheelchair/pushchair. Although Olliefest will take every precaution to ensure the safety of the vehicles, parking is at the owner’s risk and Olliefest will not be liable for any damage caused whilst parking here.
What date is the event and what opening times?
We are every August bank holiday weekend! Starting Friday (Camp site opens at 09:00 – Festival opens at 12:00 pm) and then Saturday and Sunday 12:00-23:00. We close the event Sunday at 23:00 with a firework display. The dates for 2022 are Friday 26th August through to Sunday 28th August 2022 (Campsite closes 12:00 pm on Monday 29th August).
What is your policy on children at the event?
We are a family friendly festival! We welcome children under the age of 16 with an adult. The children should be supervised at all times and are ultimately the parent/guardians responsibility. We do have a lost child meeting point area and security marshalls throughout the site if you need assistance.
What is there to do for the children?
Hopefully they will enjoy the live music as much as the adults as we do our best to cater for everyone! However, there is also a funfair for adults and children to enjoy at a small cost and inflatables for the children. There are craft stalls, colouring tables and children’s favourite tv characters appearing randomly throughout the weekend.
Are dogs permitted at OllieFest?
Well behaved dogs that are kept on leads are welcome into the festival site. You may well be asked to leave if your dog is running loose and if you are found not to be scooping the poop. The festival ends with a firework display on Sunday evening so please bear this in mind if your dog is sensitive to them.
Are there any toilets on site?
We will have public toilets at the event including disabled and baby changing facilities.
Can we bring our own food and drink?
Sadly no, only food and drink purchased on site can be consumed (with exception to baby food and dog food!). We rely massively on the trader’s rent to help support the festival, so we need you to support them. There are plenty of food and drink options on site including some traders catering for special dietary requirements. The bars run a challenge 25 policy so bring your id if you want to be sure to be served.
Can we bring a camping chair or blanket?
Yes, feel free to bring any of these items. Please be mindful of where you position them.
Is there a cashpoint on site?
Unfortunately not, however our token booth and possibly some of the retail stalls accept card payments. Cash sales are only available for the Fun Fair and Retail Stalls at OllieFest
How does the ‘token system’ work?
To avoid cash transactions at the bar & food stalls, and to cut down on queues, OllieFest run a token system. You’ll need to buy tokens from the token booth to spend at the bars and food vendors. 1 token = £1. The vendors will not accept cash, so please ensure you have bought your reusable cup and tokens before heading to the bar. Tokens are non-refundable so please only purchase enough for what you intend on consuming. Cash and cards are accepted.
