Olliefest started as a small local music festival “Smilefest” back in 2015, based in the market town of Ross-On-Wye held in the beautiful setting of the towns rugby fields right next to the river Wye. Entering into its 5th year, Olliefest is a firm favourite with locals and music lovers in the wider community.
Founded back in 2015 (as Smilefest) it was a celebration of life following the tragic loss of much loved local rugby player Ollie Floyd, Olliefest is a growing favourite and a must for your calendars, this year’s festival will be held August Bank holiday starting on Friday 23rd and coming to a close with our much-loved fireworks display Sunday 25th.
With the increasing costs of running the non-profit festival, we are looking to you for support and want to make it a record-breaking year for both us and for our charity partners. Creating a large footfall at the festival generates more towards our chosen charity “In their shoes” who aim to provide a mental health outreach for children aged between 0-16.
As the festival is Free to enter we rely on YOU, the people to help us through donations along with our sponsors, on the back of a successful 2018 festival we want to keep this amazing local festival vibrant and alive. To this end, we have set up the following crowdfunder page to help with the increasing costs of the festival. The link to this page can also be found in the main navigation of our website.
Any donation no matter how small will help make a difference and you will forever be a member of the Olliefest family.
Thank you for your support as always
